STEP 3 of 4

Start Your Insurance Career — Even If You Live Outside Georgia

Start your insurance career by obtaining your resident license in your home state, followed by a Georgia non-resident license through our structured training system.

Some candidates exploring this opportunity do not currently hold an insurance license and live outside the state of Georgia.

In these situations, the typical path is to first obtain a resident life insurance license in your home state, followed by applying for a Georgia Non-Resident Life Insurance License.

Our goal is to provide clarity, mentorship, and a structured path from day one.

This opportunity may be a good fit for individuals who:

  • Are interested in starting a career in the life insurance industry

  • Are willing to complete licensing requirements in their home state

  • Are open to mentorship and structured training

  • Are consistent with activity and follow-through

  • Are focused on building a long-term career opportunity

Many successful agents begin without prior insurance experience, but succeed because they are willing to learn and follow a proven system.

Start Your Insurance Career — Licensing Support Available for Qualified Candidates

Licensing Path

Candidates who move forward in our process typically follow a two-step licensing path:

Step 1

Obtain a resident Life Insurance Producer License in your home state.

Step 2

Apply for a Georgia Non-Resident Life Insurance License.

Many agents apply for their Georgia non-resident license through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) after obtaining their resident license. Many successful agents start without prior insurance experience and follow the same licensing path.

During the interview process we will review:

      • Your state of residence

      • Your licensing path

      • The steps required to obtain your Georgia non-resident license

Licensing approval is determined by your home state department of insurance and the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Licensing Scholarship Support Available

Qualified candidates may receive access to our pre-licensing course scholarship, which can reduce the course cost to under $50.

This course fulfills the state-required pre-licensing education needed before scheduling your licensing exam.

The course includes:

    • Access to the required 40-hour pre-licensing program

    • 30 days to complete the coursework

    • The ability to schedule your state-required proctored licensing exam

Applicants remain responsible for:

    • State exam fees

    • State license application fee

    • Fingerprinting or background check fees (required by the state)

    • Georgia non-resident license (after resident license approval)

Your license is your personal producer license and is not tied to our agency. If you ever choose to work with another organization in the future, your license remains yours.

Many successful agents start without prior insurance experience. Our training system is designed to guide you step-by-step through licensing and your first clients.

Georgia Non-Resident License

After obtaining your resident license, agents working with our organization must also apply for a Georgia Non-Resident Life Insurance License.

This license allows you to represent our agency within our production system.

Applications are commonly submitted through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR).

This step takes less than 30 seconds to complete.

Qualified candidates can then schedule a 15-minute phone interview.

Candidates who meet our alignment requirements are invited to schedule a 15-minute phone interview.
